After reading the previous comments, I bought this product by choosing the right "sold and shipped by amazon" to avoid unpleasant surprises third-party vendors as described here. The product arrived quickly, new (in original packaging) and I can confirm that it is indeed the XBOX 360 controller comes with the USB adapter to connect the controller to the PC (recognized instantly and without any installation to the Windows 7) So if you want to avoid the bad as described by some here, choose well "sold and shipped by Amazon". Perfect for use "solo" (listen to music or a game on PC or on console). Near-disaster when using the micro mode to play with several : a loud grinding noise and continued making its use unbearable! A little complicated to set up headphones on a pc. No idea if the difficulty is the same on console. But in any case the helmet answer has all my expectations. There's just the fact of controlling 3 characters, which is a nice idea but a bit messy for my taste. Otherwise buy the worry-free, it's worth it! I use it to play on my PC, I had no programming to do, nothing! Everything is compatible no worries... My pc is not bluetooth so I had to take the controller with wire, but ultimately it doesn't bother me at all, the cable is very large, if you think that it is too much it is always possible to "attach" to set it to the size that we want, in short it is perfect I recommend it! This wired controller is identical to that sold wireless with the Xbox 360, with one exception : no more need to change batteries or to recharge them!
